Kathleen Lynch

Kathy founded the Law Office of Kathleen Lynch in 2009. She has over thirty years of experience in intellectual property matters including patents, trademarks, copyrights, licensing and trade secrets. Kathy acts as in-house intellectual property counsel for small and mid-size companies, preparing, filing, and prosecuting utility and design patent applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.  In addition, Kathy provides legal opinions on patentability, infringement and invalidity for her clients and often assists with patent due diligence efforts.

In the area of patents, Kathy has particular expertise in the field of medical devices and has handled several patent related projects focused on mechanical devices and systems, laminate and textile technologies, and telecommunications and manufacturing equipment. She also prosecutes trademarks and service marks before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and provides advice to clients with respect to copyright, trade secrets matters, IP asset management, and IP licensing.

Kathy is married with twin boys.  She loves to travel, garden and enjoys late night dinner parties with good friends.
