Maks leverages his technology and research experience to assist growing businesses establish legal vehicles that align with their unique business models. Prior to his legal career, Maks was a successful software sales and management professional, working primarily with startup and scaleup companies in the Triangle.
After attending UNC Law and serving as an Editor on the NC Journal of Law and Technology, he negotiated sponsored research project agreements for NC State University, specializing in government and small business contracts.
Outside of work, Maks and his wife operate a small horse farm, and if he finds any additional spare time, he spends it playing golf, drumming, and boating.
