We've moved into a new home!
As Fourscore seeks to raise the bar in our industry and cultivate innovation in our community, we realized the need to have a physical space to build our own culture first. Our new office is on Oberlin Rd. in Raleigh, less than a half mile from the Village District. With easy access to Wade Ave. and points on the western side of the Triangle, our team could not be more excited to operate out of our new space!
Nominate for 2024 Startups to Watch
GrepBeat will name 10 early-stage tech startups to its fourth annual list of "Startups To Watch." They will release the honorees and recognize them at an invite-only event on Thursday, Sept. 19 in Durham. This is a great opportunity, and we're one of the sponsors. Apply by August 30 here.
Cook's Mill Bourbon Whiskey
Check out the new feature story on our client Cook's Mill Bourbon Whiskey. This startup began when entrepreneur Jason Queen and his wife purchased an old grist mill to renovate and found 50-year-old grain inside the structure. Now they're bringing whiskey production back to North Carolina using local heirloom corn.
Modifying a Statement Work
Change orders and amendments are two options for changing a Statement of Work (SOW). But, are they identical choices? When is a change order the way to go, and when should you draft an amendment? Maks breaks it all down in his most recent blog post. Check it out here.
